Steps to Heath 10th July 2007

We are pleased to announce the arrival of Jonathan Wareing who is based within the surgery. Jonathan is an Activity Referral Officer working for the Active Living Team for Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust. A referral by your GP/ Practice Nurse/ Health Professional will allow you to access the Steps to Health scheme.

CHECK YOUR WEIGHT, HEIGHT AND BODY MASS INDEX 15th June 2007

We now have in the surgery easy to use scales which record your height, weight and body mass index - just call in the surgery. If after using the scales you find you are overweight and would like some help please book a routine appointment with the nurse or doctor who will discuss the most appropriate action for you.
